Let me first start with I did not flash anybody , we had a designated driver and no boys were harmed. I am down in Fellsmere , Countyline is a country bar where even the ugly girls and boys can dance. And the fashion statements are very camouflage. I had no idea the zip up thing Dale wears could be worn to the bar with a blue and white knitted hat with a pompom on it!

It was amazing to see good ole boys in Wrangler jeans , cowboy hats and plaid shirts line dance so very well. It really was a good time . I was able to keep up with Charlie Bear some , he can dance. I thought he was just talking as boys will do but no the boy can dance.

I got to practice my ATS moves . It was very cool Gina would be proud. They played the Beastie Boys oh hell yes that was fun. I had most of the center of a wood floor, where your feet just glide . That was my favorite way to dance .Then there was some other song that got a guy in front of me , then a girl or two in front of him . All of us rocking down to the floor ,that's where the beer hit me and the muscle fatigue tried to take over. I didn't think I was coming up from that one and there was his friend taking pictures or video with his phone . I had to pull on the guys jacket , good thing by then everyone had drunk lots and hopefully the flashing of missfortune did not cause anything that a good nights sleep wont heal.

Missed day

So I missed yesterday. Didn't realize what a commitment it would take to blog everyday.
I know what it takes to walk every day, be upright , have clothes on and charge Ipod. There is weather to take the dog or not. Oh wait when the kids are up that's three dogs . One of which put me on my ass in the front yard just trying to get to the walk. That was Carlos, Charlie Bears new dog. A puppy from a mean bitch he had and her lover , a sweet dog named Buddy , whom got hit by a car. Sad . The bitch had to be terminated cause she bit the end of a woman's finger off . The woman was encroaching on the dogs puppies. All the dogs being here made New Years eventful.

We had knit nite tonight at Denny's with a waitress that just plan annoys me. Ryan works on Wednesday there and also at Cracker Barrel. We can't have knit nite at Cracker Barrel cause the lighting sucks.
I am working on a hat out of sock yarn , that I started 1/13/10 . I found it in my UFO bag. I have 17 !

A friend just gave me a lovely wood coffee table , that fits the new the living room is perfectly.

I had nachos and pancake puppies . Nope I did not drink any water today that was not color or altered by leaves and sugar . shame on me. guess i know my drink of choice tomorrow. YOU got it Margaritas from La Panaro !!!

Life

I am trying so hard to be happy with life. I keep feeling like if I get a few key things(people) in place all would be great . At least until I got back on the weight scale at work. All in all though I have it made. running water , electricity a paid for car and legs that work like I want them too . My friend Michelle , well her dad is not so lucky. I guess his hard living has taken its toll . He had knee surgery not too long ago , maybe a week. A few good days in rehab then bam , like spicy sauce hitting your ass as it leaves you , his leg was bad. He has to have it amputated . Tomorrow if it hasn't already been done tonight. I don't know what words to tell my friend except that I'm here for her.

On the knitting front , I have started the spiral shawl out of Victorian Lace book. It was a KAL among some friends , last year ! dropped in Jan into a very cute project bag and promptly forgotten and a hat out of a Vogue magazine . I copied the chart but not the date of magazine or what they called the hat . At least I wrote down the last row I did.

It's time to put this day to bed.

New Year

Its a new year . Time to get to the root of my life. Kristen is moving to her dads. My husband is , well he is the same as he was last year. I still struggle with what I don't like about him and wonder if this is the year I leave him.

Knitting projects as in UFO's . they are only 16 . I would like to get them done or frogged before the year is up. I feel like I knit very slow.

Sewing - I hope to get lots of bags sewn. I like the name beetle bag. I would love to make and sell them but I don't like the idea of doing the same bag over and over again.

Job I want to find out what it takes to finally get certified as a surgical tech, get a phlebotomy certificate and redo the CNA class ; so I can do some home health cases.

My medical bills got paid off last year , now to concentrate on credit cards and paying dad back and putting a spinning wheel on layaway .

Walking , water and work will be done daily, at least 44 oz daily and I will be on time . Even on the days I get paid, which I have been late cause I pay bills on pay day. Not no more though.

I will also value my time more.

Well I got a namaste bag off ebay. Hollywood pink , Executive , love it but it didn't love me back. One of the handles came undone. Now do I return it , glue it or sew it to fix it?
I wrote the seller will see tomorrow.

I have two pairs of glasses coming in the mail. Will post them as soon as i get them.

It seems every other thing on this computer has my attention but my own blog and thoughts.

I am kid free, man free with aunt flo and dogs for company this am. I am going to help do yard work at friends house after 10 . I am bringing rice a roni and veggies for lunch and my yarn bag . Must not forget change of clothes !

Glasses have been broke in middle and have had odd time with glue bottle getting them together. New pair still in processing not shipping mode.

Having friends has been a scary thing but I am so glad I took the plunge . At times I still feel like a dog that has not been properly socialized at a public dog park !

this is the new yellow top I am working on. The back is lots of knit 2 purl 2 for a whopping 81 rows ! Oh yes fun , fun. The good thing about it though is how it settles ones mind. I can really feel myself unwind as I knit this.
Below is the new project bag I made to for it all to go in. This was a tank top found at a thrift store. I just loved the black trim and it covers a horrible gray stain that was on it when I bought it.

I have picasa 3 for my photos now. A new adventure in getting creative!

A commitment to Dad

My dad wants to ride his bicycle everyday . So that means I will be calling him everyday. As kids grow , your parents grow with their own lives. Some talk everyday while others go months without a work to each other. I didn't plan on being the kid that could go months without contact. I know I did not grow up thinking I would be distant from my parents . Life just happened . I started this year with a commitment to myself to understand my reality. To know me is to know , reality for me in the past was a word in the dictionary!

I just got off the phone with him. He is on a mission to get the other deer twin that was just born a few days ago. They take the baby deer early , so they can be bottle fed growing up tame and petable. He will be trying to get the baby before the mom hides it. She has caught on to what my parents do when they come into the deer pen.
I have not done my walk , I'm sure he will call later . I will be talking to him like never before.

This is when size does matter. I only want 4 inches not six. Well I am going to move forward with this very simple tank top in the most bumpy yarn noro has ever produced on size ones . I love the multi colours and the texture is okay , no braless wearing with this one !

I made deviled eggs yesterday for stamp club , with equal parts butter and mayonnaise and fresh herbs . They were good , recipe is from Julia Child cookbook of wisdom tips.

I have a busy day at work.
I am hoping to have the energy afterwords to walk a 5 mile walk with Lynn and Robbie .
I guess I better go get some support hose on!

I have a project finished. This is me talking ! Imagine that . Jeffery took the picture. It is the top for Kristen's graduation . Now to figure out what to cover my ass with .
It is the second day of June. I have a whole list of what I want to get done this month.

keep the house decluttered. It rubs me to have someone notice how clean my computer desk is. Not that i don't like it , I do but it is boring but will be easy to dust and Dale might notice and smile about it . That it is his desire to have an uncluttered house that had me do it . Oh and that I got a new computer ! I have very good friends , they see so much good in me and point it out . I need that since my husband is oh so good at pointing out the bad.

Putting beads on yarn first depends on how strong your yarn is. The top is made from cotton so it could handle 30 beads or so at a time being pulled along.

Time to finish something or start something new. KIP is coming up . I kinda want something new for it. I have a simple knit top that I will start the swatch on today. Yes I swatch.

New Computer

Life is good .
I still have a job , no thats not it. Car is paid for , no that was last months . gee what is it too be happy about . hmmm what are my fingers trying to say?

Ahh yes thanks to my friends Ruthee and Chuck , I have a new computer with my own windows program. !!! wahoo better then swimming naked in the moonlint. Well no wait it's not better then that but real close.

So I have 104 podcasts to download and get the joy of clearing the ipod and preforming a ceremony !

The reasoning for the dress to have been late was blamed on the volcano ! Oh well. I made my own dress to where and celebrate the uniting of Jay and Spencer.That is the purse I made to go with my dress. The part of the dress pics that turned out was a wee bit short for posting . The top part without the skirt ....
This is the purse I made for Spencer to keep her girly stuff in for the wedding.
I got some knitting done on the pink top . This is the second time I am have been monogamous to my knitting.Am trying to get photo of the happy couple but computer not cooperating.Well i guess that picture comes up another time. The wedding was lovely. Lots of pictures showing up on face book. Even dancing to Saturday nite fever music. The day will stay with me for a long time , their love for eachother is so refreshing .

No Dress

I have no dress at the moment. I am sad . I will not be a part of Spencers wedding tomorrow. I walked three miles, paid my last car payment and had an efficient day at work. Good huh ? Should be okay with the minor flaw of not being beautiful side piece for Spencer . Well it sucks. My lack of planning ,of paying early on the dress. I want out of this hole i'm in in my life . I know stop digging .

Wedding and procrastination

I have really messed up . By not ordering my brides maid dress as early as I could have , I might not be in Spencers wedding. It's times like this I see how much of a grown up I am not . That makes me sad.
On a happy note I was amazed at the variety of bras wall-mart on 220 has . I've never seen so many . animal print , cartoon print , lace , solid , lace with matching panties !
If my dress gets here tomorrow, I will be heading back to 220 for some of the goodies I saw tonight , then to 103 for the slip the scanner said they had .........to hide the garter I'm eager to wear.

10 inchs - really ?

I was going on along , singing a song , knitting away between my tasks at work. Yes , it was a sorta slow day, all my stuff was done honest ..... Okay back to my rant. There was a knot . Not usually a problem , except for the 10 inches of beads before the knot . What to do? Well at least these green beads fit on the yarn. Spencer said there is such a thing as a bead reamer for those naughty beads ! Who knew ? and why didn't they tell me . Oh ya she did tell me tonight when she heard about the naughty ones.

Why is it that the green beads , don't have the same size holes as the other beads? I am putting pink, light pink , yellow and green beads on my pink yarn . For the pink top, by Kristin Omadahl, Lacy Ribbed Top from Creative Knitting July 2009. I have a handful of green ones that are going into something else .
I am loving this weather we are having. I walked two miles today . Realized I misplaced my debit card , reporting it to the bank girl, I had her laughing cause I don't have any checks either ! What a novel way to save money ....

Today is a cloudy day . Rain sure to come . The back yard is actually not in need of mowing but there are several holes to fill . Later I get to go to my first Roller Derby event. It is Spencer's bachlorette party. Knit Kim and I have a few surprises for her . I'll post the sayings tomorrow. I can't post any pictures , the Gateway computer I have can only update to service pack two with windows. Somehow I downloaded a counterfeit update ! It's not my fault someone put out there xp pro !
Funny how you start to expect all your keyboards to have the same features , like holding the key down and expecting it to go capital , like it does on your phone.
It is time for that second cup of coffee , so days just start out that way. Pandora is so awesome.
Kimber gave me my socks yesterday , they are so lovely. Well I'm off to figure out what to where with my special t-shirt ! I would love to have running shorts with the white boarder and stripe knee high socks but I can't find Fergie's phone number !

I know silly me to think of it that way. It is my first day back to work in a week. I have been so lazy , just napping willy nilly and knitting . I have done my first 32 rows on the Hanami . The hardest part has been putting beads on . I think I could get by with a little bit bigger crotchet hook . I have been using dental floss in combo with hook to get bead on. I also have had to rub some wax on yarn to have bead slide.

Also I get to drive my car for the second time in a month ! Wha hoo. to pay out so much money for the thrill of my go green go cart !

I need to write . Not writing means I'm not happy , I am in slug mode . The very sad part is I don't easily realize it , till i'm out of the mud of my head. So if you read me and i'm not writing tell me carriesconfetti@gmail.com . that i read everyday or at least delete.

The latest news in my world. Where to start. My car ? My truck I gave back? My nose ? Not bending over so nose is lower then heart? Trying to figure out relationship with husband .

too much to write in one day. My car broke a month ago. Dale did not want to put anymore money into it , when I only owed 538 !!! I went with him on this picked out a red very cute 2000 blazer only to be so mad at Dale I could have moved out !
With only one payment made , the truck needs a new engine . Oh hell no . So with tears , yes tears , I asked the salesman for my car back.

Now there could be new set of tears as I find out my broke car needs new transmission. Which over the phone the mechanic thought would be a piece at a time fix. NOT . It needs new transmission. So now not only do I get to pay close to three times what I owed on my car I now get to pay for a transmission. My dad is lending me money for that. Problem solved . still living with Dale for a bit longer.

My nose . I'm a Florida born and all my life lived girl. Well the bad part of the sun has settled more then once on my face esp my nose. Very bad cells grew, basil carcinoma to be precise. I did not move on getting this checked for at least a year. Shame on me . But not so late that I have crater in nose , cause today it looks pretty good. I had the area removed yesterday at Parkside Surgery Center in Riverside. The treatment was so good. I even have plans to teach a nurse to knit.

Hey that could be a new group in town.

On the knitting front , I have a shawl I want to start but have to make at tote bag for it first.

My silk top from artfibers that is coming along so great. I am so thrilled with it. It was bought cause I did not believe the price of the kit , so I had to buy it .

Now Kristen wants gray yarn to do a shrug out of .

On a finale note sleeping on the couch when not mad at Dale is not much fun.

Sad day

My coworker , Angela , lost her dad yesterday to a peanut allergy . He was eating recesses pieces by mistake . Did whatever he could to get them out of his system but it was not good enough. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

That leaves us short one person at work, with only five of us to the office part of a clinic its gonna be crazy next week.

I tried to knit last night putting good thoughts out to her but I only got a row and a half done. I was just so overwhelmed by her loss.

He was a nice man even wanted me to teach him to knit . Somehow I never found the time . Shame on me.

Wow it has been a long time since I've had anything to say. Well now we know that is not true , I've just not taken the time to type it.

Spring is upon us . The weather is the best I can remember . I work today with my reward being wine tasting at the wine warehouse and planning to get a new cookbook. With Dale home I am cooking more. Now to get some recipes that are good and not full of fat.

Fitday is an amazing site to help U keep track of you weight .
Knitmoregirls had a great interview with a lady from Russia on the last podcast ,that really shows how male female relationships are the same no matter what country you live in.

I am so thrilled I have a computer again. Jessica , a mom from our Tuesday group donated her ex-husband computer to my needs. Her name is now Betty. My friends all name their spinning wheels , so i'm practicing.

Tyler is doing okay . He is into week two after falling from a tree and breaking , crushing his ankles.

Chantel is up to 23 weeks and Charles looks good.

Kristen finally seems to be feeling well. She has had some lingering something since December . The alkasetzer for cold stuff seems to have knocked what ever it was out of her system. We are looking for Military ball dress. I didn'tget to help much , my back muscles this morning screamed at me of their existance. When I walked into work , I felt like scaffolding in the wind. As I type this I feel the need to be back on the heating pad.

Ipod is all updated .

It is Wednesday , should be an evening of yoga . Okay at least 20 minutes worth. Izzy bailed on me , her back is not happy. I have walked my 10,000 steps , no dinner yet am having hard time with computer !!

Am now hungry but determined to do some sort of yoga .
I got Kristen Rodney Yee , AM yoga . Only 20 minute sessions so off I go.

Kristen found the way to get the computer to work. I don't have desktop stuff and can not (phew dogs are a little potent , no farting , just dog smelling) reisnstall cd .

Washing the dogs once a week this week might not work , since it is gonna be sooooo cold.

My goodness I talked so much today to Kim and Izzy I can barley type. Just follow along eventually it will make sense. Women really do need to talk things out . Silly how I had forgotten that. Me of all people, whom has never had trouble talking , had to learn last year how to watch movies ,quietly , and loves podcasts. So today I made up for it. I talked at Kim's house while we made Christmas cards, I talked so much while walking tonight once I straightened my arm out, it felt like it did when it was in a cast . It totally hurt to hang straight.
Thats alot of talking. I needed it.
I'm done now.
Time for a warm bath . I am determined to walk 10,000 steps a day , cast off some excess weight and inspire my friends.

Today was a good movie day. Or tv dvd day to be exact. Kristen and I watched bones for 6 hours ! It rained all day . I am working on a top down sweater . It is with Berroco hip hop yarn. I lvoe the colour and texture I am getting with this thick and thin yarn.

What a nice day. I got out of going to work by taking Kristen to breakfast and a medical appt. A nap followed. Dinner at Red Lobster and trip to mall.
No to a teenager about lip gloss really means , sure try the colour if you want !

My friend Nikki and her niece Makala made me a very yummy looking cake. I was way to full from dinner to even cut into it. It has whip cream icing ,which is my favorite !

Oh lets not forget the concert tickets I got , Black Crowes! I am so excited.
I get to celebrate at work today , party tonight and another get together with friends Saturday after work. Yummyness for me . Friends, food and music ,I am very happy.

I have spent a lot of time with my llama fiber . Asking myself why did I need to wash the whole bag ? I blame it on the coffee I drank or the domino sugar in it!

I have the entire bag drying on a sweater rack on top of screens , did ya have the vision of llama fiber hanging off the dowel rod ? hmm . is it the beer talking or the blues music in my head making thoughts move in sexy hip swaying ways.

I have room in my sewing/ knitting / fireplace room. It is very exciting to be able to move around and not trip over something.

I know I will be much happier with life being able to create on a daily basis.

Washing my Llama

Today was a good day to clean my sewing room. In there I found the bag of llama fiber my dad gave me. In my eagerness to keep up with the two pots of expresso coffee I made , into the tub the llama went ! YES the whole black garbage bag full! So far there have been 5 tubs of water and what was left of the dawn dish soap.

I find I am enjoying the cleaning process more then I would have imagined. Now the drying part? Not sure how fun that will be , then there will be the guard hair search.

I have gotten so much done in my sewing room. I still have three tables that have become flat storage containers but I am not done for today.

life without Harley

Kristen is out with friends from school , they are all at the fair. I just got up from watching Hell Ride , a Q. T. film (i can't spell his name but I'm sure you can figure it out)
I went to check the door is unlocked, tears are so close to falling down my face. Harley died the day before Chris Fiber and I left for our first trip to SAFF. Harley in case you don't know was our black and white cat that I brought home one time when Dale was off in Penn for his nieces wedding. He was a very cool independent cat. Living inside and out of the house. I miss him coming to the door in the morning to come in or at night to be let out. I just plain miss him. I have friends now that can come over cause he is not here but will they ? Are they the kind to visit me ? Will they be a big enough part of my life to not get new furry love ? Or will wool fiber be my new love? with unnatural colours and shine that it didn't have when it was on foot .

I want to write everyday , walk the dogs , work diligently at my job ,yoga , keep my house straight and let loose the creative energies I have inside. The sacred six .

My birthday is coming up . My own personal new year. My chance to get it right.

F%$*ing frogging

Why yes officer I have been frogging for the past hour !
I am doing Abrazo , from knitty. The simplest vest known to the knit kingdom .
But no can I get it right ? Somehow I got to 10inches when I only needed 8 but I was okay with that . The few extra inches might cover or keep me from having muffin top. But not having the cable go up as it should thats another story.
Somehow I fell off the cable wagon. So much for my enjoying Dale driving Tyler and I to Daytona and me happly not cleaning house but knitting in the back seat .
Did you know there is a Kholes next door to Publix at the 7-eleven exit we meet at to have Kristen go to her dads? Well there is and I got to shop.
Jeans size , are ya ready ? 16 not the for so long 18 ! wha hoo for me.
And a skirt , large not extra which has been the norm for too long. The walking is paying off.

I still have more frogging to do but am a little bit happier now that I have blogged. Chris Fiber asked me when I was gonna blog again. Well here I am.
This is gonna be on my list of every day things Ihave to do . I have decided all the have to do's are not gonna just be work some , in fact many are gonna be fun have to's on a daily basis.

Seems so long since I've had anything to say. I have much to say to many people . Will they or do they read this? Hmm not sure . Must send out info about it . Add that to list.

Quiltfest is here downtown. It is a nice display of local quilts and some from other states. An inspiring bit of color. I've pictures ofcourse but not sure how to get them here. Must add that to the list.

what is the cost of stamps ? hmm not sure . what is that smell? Something from the fridge , yukkk, thought it was a bowl of something, must look tomorrow.

I wonder if the protesters will be at work tomorrow. Oh i didn't tell you . Our clinic was picked to be the spot for 40 for life to protest in front of . Well sorta in front of . Today was to be the first day but they did not show up. I was all worked up for nothing.

On the knitting front. I scored two balls of Debbi Bliss from Discounted Yarn Girls , the yarn that goes with the scarf she has a pattern for in her new magazine. I got needles too, the shipping only went up a 1$.

I finished one Cookie A monkey sock. I am eager to get the other one done.
I wore my happy socks tonight They are so soft, they stretched some though.

A friend brought home a kitten the other day, it did not make it back from the vets office as they planned. Very sad. I have always had a cat , they have not had good luck at all with any that have crossed their path. My friend asked me, should she get another one ? I told her ,"If it makes your heart smile, get another one." Cats have a touch me kind of love that yarn has but they purr.

Wow I will be back tomorrow. I really needed this.

new job opprotunity

I am so excited and nervous at the same time . I start an EMS position with a friend at a motorcross track. I can't find a white bra which is need atire for tomorrow. NO way in hell am I going to wall mart on 103 tonight for one.

I will have to go to 220 to get one though. All the new ones I just bought , have spots on them!

I just stepped on the cat . Ofcourse he got me with claws and teeth to let me know what I just did to him. I am now worried about him. I am hoping I did not just put him into a slow death .

I have had such an awesome day today. Work went well. I caught a low blood pressure in time , had great food at my friend Chirs house and many laughs . Also got some sock done .

Fay has inspired me to sew. I am going to make some clear bags in her honor . They will be Fay the warning , Fay the storm and Fay the aftermath! Funny how weather can have one be creative.

I have spent all day at a friends house , in her kitchen no less. Well i did get to watch some cable tv, saw MASH with Patric Swayze and a show on how pianos are made , 3-D puzzles too. She is getting food ready for a wedding in GA tomorrow. Since the weather is so yukky , I am not going .
Kristen is going stir crazy being in the house for the past three days but she does not want ot get stuck elsewhere either.

I am so close to having the sock done. I am itching to start the sweater project out of interweave press magazine and another pair of socks. It has been a few years since I attempted socks , I am so much better at it.

Oh hello headache. Is this what a migrane feels like ? Well I think I do . I woke up with one this am. As I drove to work , half way there , tears start from the pain. I went in that way , got some pills , then off to Chris Fibers house to get help.
She put me to bed with two bags of ice , ipod plugged in with ocean sound lulling me to sleep and another naproxin .

Am alive now, never want to experience that again.

I have great news, Tyler is out of jail , hopefully to never return. I talked to him last night but I was speechless, imagine that ! Having to work today is the only thing that kept me from driving to see him last night. The only way I am gonna see him at this point is drivng to his dads house. Oh ya , just what I want to do .

what the hell ? Please someone tell me my husband does not know more baout ordering stuff online then I think he does. Did he some how sabatage my knitpicks account ? We all know what trouble I got into last year with my 300 and some odd amount of order from them . It was our anniversary , lord knows I've gottten enough fishing stuff or hunting stuff I needed over the past few years!!

I tried at least 6 times to order from knitpicks . Only to keep getting your stash is empty . I just left a message for them. I wonder if Kelly will use my call as a future podcast topic?

I talked to Tyler today , at least being in jail has him reading. That I am thankfull for . Ofcourse I started crying once the phone call was almost done. He has read a Dean Kootz , Nicholas shit can't think of his name , The Loop was what the title was and wants to read the Towers by Stephen King. He sounded so good. I really hope he will give my other dad , David , a chance at working for him and living in South Carolina . At least working for David he will be treated with respect and fed well.

He will be home soon . I miss him so much.

Chris and I went to Hanks in Gainsville. A very fun yarn store that is open on Sunday , which makes today funday insted. We were out there longer then I thought we would be but I had no deadline to be home and meme made dinner that I could take home to Kristen.

The knitting tip I learned today : Keeping your bead up ! When using a crotchet hook to put on a bead ; do you knit stitch , take stitch off right needle put bead on then put back on right needle. Bead will stay upright and on right side. (good to know for those limpy beads or those that lean the wrong way )

I had to have help with my increase on the February sweater. Chris frogged to the basic row , did up to row 7 then looked at where my marker was at least 21 times , till I felt I was doin it right. I'm tired but not enough to drag my butt to bed , no I'm gonna listen to a story on cd for a bit of knitting time.

Thats what it should be called with all the food I ate today. Vanillas is a cupcake place with yummy cupcakes . Like eating tator tots in public , eating cupcakes will soon be common place. I want to make a cupcake cake for fourth of July . I am thinking sour cream but red and blue, with fruit and chris's crack in the middle. mmmm yummy.
I will have to figure out how to get pictures on here by then , cause my camera has fireworks adjustment on it !

I have finally found the petrolium jelly , can ya guess what I did with it ?

I have been keeping up with my walking 5miles a day for hmm a week . Well not missing a day , even when Dale was home. Almost as good on my 100 oz of water .

I finished my first read book , Sleep No More , Greg Ilese . ( I gave the book away today , I know the title but am spelling the last name wrong.)

3/4 of the way finished with the cable down the front tank top. lvoe lvoe lvoe this cotton yarn. Oh to have bills paid to get more !

jury duty

I had jury duty yesterday.I did not get picked, i'm sure it's cause my husband is a truck driver ! The whole process is kinda interesting , there is a set of stairs used only by the judges. Go ahead ask me how I know that ? After getting to the fifth floor , finding the door locked and me out of breath , I tried every door below till the 2 floor opened up . All total my jury day turned into almost three miles of walking ; between the stairs and the walk to the free parking . Free just donate your fat cells or produce enough sweat to cool off the air around you . Can ya guess what else I had to wait for ? One clue - it seats lots of people, runs on desiel and gave Ralph Cramdon something to drive. After waiting a half hour for free ride, I decided to join two other jurors, they got picked, to walk to our cars.
Just as we approached the parking lot the bus pulled in. Needless to say the dogs did not get walked yesterday.

Today I went to the beach with Kim, no waves so i did not loose my top boggie boarding. We saw the dolphin and many big jelly fish and some that looked like clear hockey pucks . I brought a small crab home , a couple pieces of coral and some water plants . Not sure if they are alive but Dale is not home to scold me for being so adventureus to think I could add stuff to the salt water tank not from the pet store!

I have half the cable top done . I did not get to knit in public in St. Augustine but did knit in GA on Kings Bay Submarine base before Leadership graduation . I am so proud of Kristen she now has a silver rope of honor to add to her uniform.
(not sure what is means but it looks cool)

It is too early in the morning for real words. So I am gonna just ramble. I got the depositions yesterday that my ex husband and brother in law gave . The misconception of why I am doing this whole thing in my ex's eyes is amazing. For him to think doctors put me up to this , suing the estate to me being angry at him over the divorce is just so wrong. Oh and get this , he sees my getting gas money from him , for meeting him in Daytona as blackmail ! Well I guess we all know how future visits will be handled .

time for work . will vent more later . Oh wedding went well. I was so well behaved .

I am in Lake Wales at River Ranch for my sons wedding. I know when I get home I have to put the pictures on this . Last night I was so well behaved, It's so odd to dance with people you don't know but know they know somebody in your new family . Oh and lets not forget my ex husband and his wife. I has not been wierd at all though ,even before I started enjoying the three olives pomagrante vodka. Yum , with tea very good , no headache.

I am knitting with Louisa Harding Nautical Cotton ,this is the yummiest cotton I have ever had the pleasure of feeling . I am so hooked on it. I am determined to do a real sweater out of it , that comes from a Louisa Harding book .

My knitting is feeling neglected, so off I go.

Okay so I just looked to see how to post pictures, I need numbers . There are hmm maybe a hundred okay so fifty pictures already from my new camera but I'm not looking at everyone now . The wine I had during our movie , Rambo 4 , is begaining to affect brain to finger coordination. And no I am not ebaying, but I did go to discounted yarns then grab a bunch of patterns to see what goes bulky . I came up with a filrty skirt . Just up my alley. I can hear someone saying " whatcha gonna wear under it ? " At least I don't have to be concerned weather I wear a bra or not ! Hey it's cold, i've got on a sweater . It calls for bulky yarn and thick and thin yarn. I have so really cool think and thin, I am hoping the colours are somewhat cooridinating to what I have. Whew too many words.

It amazes me how good a man can look , with what ? A personal trainer , awsome healthy food and a big pay check. Any steriods in the mix or the other kind of bulking stuff men take? Nice too look at but sleeping next to all that hard muscle would get old . Maybe after a few hundred nites .......

How nice , everyone off and playing or cooking out . I get to drive to my dads with Kristen and good music or bad depending on what she plays . She is fighting some kind of cold , the good news is we found medicine from Dollar General for colds that is working. There is a day time portion and night time.

My diaganol top has been put on hold. The back is looking bigger then the front , need someone with knitting knowledge to help wiht it. Got dress done except for hem . This is the first time using a dress form , wow what a joy it is .

I am working on a felted bag , only to discover this am , the black that I am using on the bottom of bag is superwash. Luckily I am only four rows in.

Kristen's birthday party went well. The rain had occured earlier in the day , leaving the night cool. The cake was yummy and the kids sang with air from the balloons. She got some great classic books for her summer reading and odds and ends to make life enjoyable.

does life ever turn out like you think it will ? Do you convince yourself the decisions you make are the right ones for your ego ? Where is that manual on raising kids , dealing with exhusbands and understanding molestation ?
Oh lets not forget the pot smoking . Not me mind you , my son. He can not seem to stop long enough to pass a pee test . So there is a warrent out for his arrest . He might miss his brothers wedding , and his own high school graduation. What a shame. Work ethic was something I thought surely my exhusband could pass onto his kids without fail. Well that didn't go over so well, as my son just got fired from working with his uncle, then his car got a bent rim and his cell phone went into a bucket of water!

Meanwhile the one time I am hoping Dale will be driving all nite , he is not. So here I sit at the computer telling my woes.

What a busy month, with so many birthdays. I only have baked one cake though. I got a really cool cake pan, it is a big cupcake . I did one cake it only filled half the pan , so I doubled the chocolate recipe . HOW long does it take burnt cake smell to get out of ones house ? Yes there was so much cake batter it went to the floor of the oven to burn away. It truely smells like there was a fire in here ! It sure did taste good though. I put Chris's crack in the center of it and to connect the top to the cake. In case ewe don't know what Chris's crack is , it is Fluff and cream chesse blended in equal amounts to make something you make yourself sick in eating and in search of good stuff to dip in it.

I know how many ballons will fit into the back of my car 21 . I had to enlist the help of a small boy to get them in there . He had to take the balloons and pull them through the back of the car, climbing out the otherside closing door quickly . The wind was just like when you sweep the kitchen, you know when you open the back door to get all stuff out - the wind blows ! I am sure when I went into Party Superstore there was no wind to be found, not a leave swirling or a hair out of place. Not till I came out with 21 ballons . I'm sure I looked funny as I stood outside my car trying to figure out how to get them in the car.

The makers of Patron , also make Rum. Charles being of age , wanted Rum. With him Valentines chocolate is all about the box, so I put thought into how cool the bottle looked. It was the coolest , lets not even go there with it being the most expensive. My husband knows me oh so well to tell be before hand that that was how I was gonna buy it ! I tried to tell him I don't always buy good quality stuff that way .........

Everyone can pass on the movie The Belly of an Architect, I watched it with Chris Fiber , trust me on this you can miss it.

I just enjoyed a book on CD that is in the car , so I'll post about it tomorrow.

I gave in on not buying yarn till diagonal top done. I was on a really good sale though and I already have the pattern for it.

I took a nap today , listened to a nap podcast from Itunes. I had listened to it yesterday but did not feel that rested when the rooster crowed at the end of 20minutes. Not a good thing when you give it to your husband to nap with. His nap was too be way longer then 20 minutes. Today though I tried it again. It worked as it says it would, no more stress from the day , I was refreshed and very clear headed. Not sure if my slow day at work had anything to do with that or not. I only did 2 miles at work , with plenty of momentum to walk the dogs. I am getting so good at it , I can do a mile in just under 20 minutes. Thats with dogs peeing . I am trying something new. no buying yarn until I finish something . Yarn girls has alpaca on sale , such a good sale. I gotta go knit........

OH my gosh . I was so impressed with the effort that Kristen put towards putting me on top of the world. Now it's Tuesday and I've hit the floor. Literally. I tripped over a stool. now my knee hurts and my right wrist feels like it wants to swell.
I was crushed with Kristen laughing at me as I was trying to get my shoe hooked. It has this little dam button that gives me a friggin fit to get in its hole. Oh why was I trying to put my shoe on in the car? Well I could not do the stitch shift with this heel on.
We just got back from group. I was emotional to say the very least. Sometimes she is the emotional one , not tonight it was all me.
A woman in our group , questioned why I was suing my ex- father-in- laws estate. She just could not see the point of going after money that way. She made it sound like I should do what ever it takes to provide that money for Kristen or she should have a good enough job to provide any future counseling she may need. That just brought up a whole heap of shit , that I guess I've been carring around for a long time. anyways , so when Kristen laughed at me trying ot get my shoe on , so we could give JR his birthday gifts , I got my feelingings hurt. Then top that off he was in bed . He is driving again, doing Ocala runs at night . Plus there was no cake ! Anyways , I feel better now. I told Kristen how it gets old sometimes , me being laughted at or feeling like I don't have my act together , as compared to others. Ya that compare to others shit will get you every time. I know I should not do that , but damit it happens.

I am hoping that naproxin and patron will keep me from hurting too bad and that I can do all the walking at work I need to without too much trouble.

I am ready for a new job. I have mastered the skills I was striving for at the clinic all except the phone / and window. I can totally without saying " wear whole underwear , loose pants and sneakers soooo many times a day or As soon as the doctor gets here we will call you back. " I guess before I go I could work on the birth control information part.

Baptist Beaches has the job I really want , Endo tech. 40 hours a week. weekends off.
I am working on my resume to get me noticed. (in a good way) .

What a day. I had an awsome day at work. It was very busy , I did so much by myself, lab , patient prep and patient recovery. Oh lets not forget the girl that need a total of 5 IV pushes and had two valuim on board !! A half hour of holding legs in place. I am gonna be sore tomorrow, no doubt about that.

Nice to come to home to a clean kitchen, wish I could have done it but Kristen did. Not for me mind you but for Dale . He is planning on being home tomorrow. Big thrill that ought to be.

Movie nite was in St. Augustine at the ampitheater. The chairs are just big enough ,with enough leg room that your knees are not in your chest but close.
We watched the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It still brings a few tears to my eyes!

My possum died today. I gave it a few days of peace before sumbcoming to the ground . At least I kept it from the ants before it took it's last breath.

I am so ready for bed. I didn't get to knit at all today. Must make up that this weekend.

I am really sad. Dale told me I was a fuck up after he had already blasted me for 20 minutes bout something I did with money , that was not exactly per his instructions. Even after I got the money out of the bank. It has to do with mother's day. Money for Kristen to have. I told her to keep , that I didn't want anything to do with the money and not to buy me anything. He has no idea how deep his words hurt me. As I write this I think of Chris Fiber , teaching her son about , dam I know what the words are but not the word for them. Like using He insted of Dale. What is that ? Anyways i'm tired of being so sad. Sad enough to watch P. S. I Love You, again. No tears this time . We all just love the music and the shoes. Ya the men aren't bad either. How great it would be to have an agrument with a man and have him understand how the argument goes . You have to see the movie to get this one. I'm not giving anymore details on that , Robbie might want to see it.

I know i'm not a fuck up . I'm just not as together as I want to be. I really want to be more together. I'm gonna go cry now. I just brought on my own tears.

10,000 steps

I am attempting to walk 10,000 steps a day , someone came up with this being a good amount for ones health and well being. Well I pull tendons in my feet doing this all at one time or doing three miles in my neighborhood after a day at work. Yesterday there was no neighborhood walking needed. It was so friggin busy I did it all just at work.
This morning my legs feel like I did some kind of marathon and top that off with Kristen needing to be at school at , are ya ready ? 6:30 AM to help with lab stuff !

I went to my friend Corinna's house today. She is someone with an amazing use with words, energetic knitter and very family involved. It was our first time knitting at her house and movie watching. Well let me tell you , the only other friend i've cried with is Andrea! P.S. I love you. A real chick flick , get your tissues and be ready to love your man with wild abandon when you see him!!

I am so tired of knitting raw silk . Does that mean I am done ? Hell no. My arms are sore , I've been knitting nonstop . I am hoping it will get in the way of the elbow issues I have ......

Okay Kristen we are only gonna stay for a few hours. Well that turns into getting home at 10 pm with full bellies and felling like we have been on vacation. Yes I am talking about a visit it Chris Fibers house . It is the most fun one can have with clothes on and you don't have to spend a dime .
Life tip : Use a dry sheet with some water in a pan ,that has horrible hard stuff to get out of ,when you would rather knit then spend time scrubbing. Let this sit a bit , then just rinse out , stuff will just float off. I saw it with my own four eyes in a cast iron pan too.
We have so much fun that time just goes on by ........

lazy sunday

It was a lazy day here . I did work on my diagonal shell, even took it with me on my walk of two of the dogs. Kristen kept teasing me , saying I was gonna fall. Good thing it is not wool , I would have felted it before my mile was up! I slept in my tent , in the back yard last night . I almost woke Kristen up to put it together . I must have spent 20 minutes on trying to get the poles to stay put and bend the way they should. I lvoe the sounds of the night creatures , minus the road noise. I wish I could put into words the sound I heard of some critter. It was so odd, a noise I'd never heard before. My back was a little stiff but didn't stay that way once I was up having coffee.
I have lowered my walking step goal to 5,000 and 7,000 feet from 10,000. I was hurting my left tendon in my foot. I figure in a month or so I can go for the 10 at least one day a week. No weight loss but my thighs are getting firmer. I have to work on the elbow issue before I can even complain about fat not moving out.
Saw the movie Savages , last night. It is a modern look at a brother and sister dealing with an aging dad. It was pretty acurate and had a good ending.
The dog gets wheels to run with .
Listened to Blue Dahlia , Nora Roberts , good but we have the abridged versions of the trilogy . We just put in request to Library Friend for the unabridged versions. I just hate knowing i'm missing parts of a story.

Hello all , I've so much to say to so many people but not enough brain cells to remember who all of ya are. So here goes a blog of my thoughts random as the confetti thrown at a birthday party.The first is hmm well that thought is gone so we will go onto a confession and an haha moment. My raw silk top back is not the right size , but insted of ripping it all out , I will just start over with knitted part and undo it as I knit. I'm sure this is a tip out of an EZ book but since I have not read through all her books I have , I get the credit for this.The top is from Lacy Little Knits , Iris Schreier,Diagonal Lace Shell.Done in a raw silk from Yarn Girls , Discounted Brand Name Yarn.
I have a form to use for the dress for Charles' wedding in June. Since the wieght I would love to lose is most likely not gonna get lost , i'm gonna get started on it in a size that is a number not to be reveled! The dress is from a Simplicity pattern 3785 . Since I got the shoes and purse from TJMaxx today , I am eager to get the dress made, also I don't want to wait till the last minute.
I don't have any good sales to report on but would suggest you check out your local big lots , never know what they may have at a price you want.
